Description Kevin 2020-02-03 19:25:32 UTC
Hello, I am not a computer person. However I do have Apache open office in two computers. When first opened and I try to save a change the system "not responds" for several minutes, then it does is every now and then during the day. This is very , very annoying. Do you know anything that I can do or try to stop this from continuing to happen? Thank you.

Hi Kevin,

No Problem that you are not a computer Person. All fine. Just a small note: This is Development Tool to improve the software, and not to analyse Issues. We do this on forum.openoffice.org. There are a lot of users helping out each other. Here are only a few developers. Never the less lets have a quick look.

I understood your both computers do not react on input from time to time.
Can you post your Operating System? Is it Windows, Mac or Linux?

You have selected Calc. This means it happens when working on a table document right?
Can you describe how big the table is?
Does this happen on Writer too?

Thanks for your patience.
All the Best
Peter

+1
This behavior is not typical and AOO works fine with all of these.
