With Catalina, the Apple Remote no longer works with Impress, checked with version 4.7.1.
This is the case for many non-Apple applications. VLC did the correction for version 3.09. I also made the change on an "Apple Remote" utility.
The modification to make on Impress: the identifiers of the "cookie" strings we changed with Catalina (as they had also been changed since Leopard).
I hope a contributor will be able to look at it because this feature is interesting for presentations.
