Description Fred 2019-10-31 17:25:24 UTC
Fatal Error when saving as spresdsheet. Defaults to the window that recovers file. Info after automatic saves is lost. For example: xyz (auto save) pqr manual save and get Fatal error. xyz is not lost, pqr is lost.

Dell Inspiron 7000
Windows 10

Please note: this is an intermittent error. I do not change anything while working on a spreadsheet. I just use "File Save". Most times it works, and sometimes an intermittent error: Bad Allocation.

One more thing.
When using the spreadsheet. If I want to fix a typing error (typing erro) The cursor defaulted to the end in the window. So, cerro, and NOT erroc. "c" represents cursor.

I really don't know who changed that, Windows, Dell or pen Office.
Thank you for your help Fred Hefer

Your bug report is being closed as NOT_AN_ISSUE due to a lack of information which is needed in order to accurately reproduce and confirm the problem. We encourage you to retest your bug against the latest release. If the issue is still present in the latest stable release, we need the following information (please ignore any that you've already provided):

a) Provide details of your system including your operating system and the latest version of AOO that you have confirmed the bug to be present

b) Provide a step-by-step procedure to reproduce (the simpler will be the better)

c) Provide any test case(s) which will help us confirm the problem (like a sample document)

d) Provide screenshots of the problem if you think it might help

e) Read all comments and provide any requested information

Once all of this is done, please set the bug back to UNCONFIRMED and we will attempt to reproduce the issue.

Please note that this is not a typical problem of OpenOffice and it's not
necessarily a bug. Therefore this issue tracker is not the right place for
discussing and solving such case of problems. Please ask for help in the user
forums [1] or the users mailing list [2].
