An alternative way

It has been addressed several times, the size of "Recent documents" (like Issue 117321). One thing that hasn't been addressed (here, or from what I can find through Google search), is the possibility to "Keep" some documents = never replaced by newer documents.

It could also be a separate row, under: "Recent documents":
"Kept/Saved documents", with documents that would or wouldn't be excluded from "Recent documents"-list.

I have some documents that are opened often (daily, weekly or monthly) - that I would be happy to not have to "Open" (or locate on computer, to open), because they have been replaced by some temporary documents.

At least, the possibility to mark some documents to stay in "Recent" (until unchecked/empty list), even though if the size is still "10", and that may cause no other documents to end up in that list, once 10 "I want to save these" have been added.

(Probably) Due to Asperger's I'm overcomplicating information, so I attach a file to show an example.

(It's easy to request "small" improvements, when I have no clue how many hours/days of work it could take. :) )

In other words, you would like to "pin" some documents in that list, either inline or in a separate section (favorites ?).

Sounds like a nice improvement. ;-)

BTW: You can do this already with Windows 7 startmenu. But this should be synchronized with the (to be improved) recent document list in AOO.

"Pin"... exactly. I should have used that word instead of "kept/saved" - Thanks! :)

Oh, I have removed Documents from my start menu (I don't like "clutter"), so I wasn't aware of that. Maybe I'll look into that, but... preferable it could be working in Calc.
