I have been trying to follow all the "fixes" that people say to do and I cannot figure out how to get my spell checker corrected.  Why can't you just do that and provide an updated version for us?  Since it seems that every single person using open office has this problem why not fix it at the source?  I know, since this is an open platform only programmers are supposed to use it so they can fix these problems themselves. But what is the point of updates then?  Please fix the spell check problem and send out an update!

If you want to discuss what we can or can not do write to development mailing list(dev@openoffice.apache.org). I discuss the issue with you there, no issue. Just write a mail with the given address and a clear subject.
This is a bug tracker where we try somehow to gain an overview what needs to be fixed. Your bug report is not helpful and makes it harder for us to have an overview that is not working.

I close this as not an issue, since your Issue is to understand our project situation and not code related.
