Operating system: Windows 10 Pro x64 Bit

Software version: OpenOffice 4.1.5 AOO415m1(Build:9789)  -  Rev. 1817496

Steps to reproduce:

1. In the application select the drawing option.
2. Select a shape from the right top side of the page.
3. Click on the page and drag to left or right to create a shape.
4. Click again on the page and drag right or left to create the shape again.

Expected result: The firs and second shapes are created.

Actual result: Only the first shape is created.

Notes: The shape selection option is deselected automatically after the first shape was made.

Could you provide screenshot for each step?

This is not a bug, it is a feature.

To draw multiple objects of the same type, double-click the icon.
To revert to normal mode after creating, click in an area of the document containing no objects, click the Select icon or press the ESC key.

Maybe it is a little bit confusing/inconsistent, that it works in Writer and Calc as aionut expects
