This fail is with a 64 bits Windows 7.
when Draw is open, it's impossible to change the format page. It works under Writer, but not under Draw.
When the request to change the page format in DRAW, the application stop. No possible to recover. No response. Obliged to reset (ctrl alt sup) and in this case, it's all the Aoo which is stopped.

This behavior is not typical and AOO works fine with Windows 7 x64.
You could try the classical procedure: reset the profile.
