When I am using spell checker in spreadsheets or text document it freezes crashes the document and application. This is on my new Lenovo laptop with Windows 8.1. This does not happen on other computers and Lenovo tech support does not have any solutions.

A very large proportion of spellcheck problems in OpenOffice are cured by deleting or renaming the User Profile.
