Description chioulaoshi 2014-10-26 04:35:20 UTC
I am using the Presentation of OpenOffice 4.1.1 on MacBook Air with OSX 10.9.5.

My text contains English and Chinese. I uncheck the "Applying spacing between Asian, Latin and complex text" checkbox in Format->Paragraph->Asian Typography. And everything looks fine. I save it as a .ppt file.

But the next time I open the .ppt file, a space reappears between the English and Chinese text, and the "Applying spacing between Asian, Latin and complex text" checkbox is checked again. It does not save the unchecked status.

This must be a bug, right? Please provide a fix or a work-around. Thanks.

Before that, provide a sample file with this spacing problem.

The best approach is to save your work in AOO's native document format ODF.
