I have just installed OpenOffice org on my computer and sent a spreadsheet to 
a friend with Microsoft Office.  They can not open the spreadsheet.  I thought 
this programme was compatible with Microsoft?

Hi Sue,

This is not a bug of OOo.

Maybe you can file one against Microsoft if you have saved your
Document to the Calc6 XML Formats.

You have to save your files into the Excel format to share them with
others.
