Description castany 2003-03-14 12:40:39 UTC
Hello,

i do not manage to use "Insert->External Data" with CSV files. For example, let
suppose that i have a file called "ABC" and containing the following data :
1 (tab) 2
3 (tab) 4

If i open this file with the "open" menu (i select the file type : "text CSV"),
there is no problem : my file ABC is accepted as expected.

If i want to insert the file with "Insert->External Data" :
- i select the file type "text CSV"
- the CSV file is parsed correctly in the "Text Import" window
- i click on "OK" which closes the "text import" window and brings back to the
"External Data" window...
- then, in this window, the button "OK" is desactivated !!!??? and i can not
load the data in the spreadsheet...

Can you reproduce ?

Platform : RedHat 7.2
(Same bug in OO 1.0.1)

Hi Oliver,

what about looking in Issuezilla first ?

This is not a bug and also an double to Issue 1834

So I close this one.

Frank
