Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 123286
maximum and minimum related to date and time validity accepts invalid date and time
Last modified: 2013-09-19 06:57:15 UTC
Created attachment 81569 [details] invALID In validity dialog 1)Select time->In 'Data' select 'between'. In minimum field enter 23,34 and maximum field enter 4555?12 .Press Ok Error Noticed 1: maximum and minimum field accept invalid input. There should be error state set to the field when user enter invalid input . 2) Reopen the validity dialog again and check the min and max value Error Noticed 2: Data entered in min and max altered to some invalid number
More or less Reproducible with "AOO 4.0.1 – German UI / German locale [AOO401m5(Build:9714) - Rev. 1523756 2013-09-16 20:50:21]" on German German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", Common 4.0-dev User Profile. It seems we have 2 (possibly related) problems here. a) Acceptance of invalid Values in Validity dialog. That problem already does exist for me with English OOo 3.1.1 with English Locale setting. I can copy/paste the values from report, and they will be accepted, but "23,34" is not a number for that Locale. b) Change to strange values This also is already reproducible for me with above mentioned 3.1.1. (after save - close - reopen): Input Value After Close-Reopen 23,34 552:00:00 4555?12 34,4555?12
Created attachment 81576 [details] Sample document You can do your own tests in yellow cells range. Still Reproducible with "AOO 4.1.0-Dev – English UI / German locale - [AOO410m1(Build:9750) - Rev. 1523968 - 2013-09-18]" on German WIN7 Home Premium (64bit)", own separate user profile.
I think this one is related to or DUP of "Bug 55161 - Error message for wrong input (date with format of different locale) in validity dialog "
