Description burna 2003-03-09 01:33:19 UTC
If language is Chinese Simplified (Set under Tools - Options) and the used font
SimSun, the font setting under "Text-Document" for "Basic Fonts (Asian)" will
after each new start of Openoffice.org reset and use Tahoma as font. That
means, after each new start of Openoffice.org I have to set the fonts for the
Asian Layout again to SimSun, if I want to put in Chinese Characters.
That is not the case for Chinese (Macau, Hongkong, Singapur...).

Thank you for using and supporting OOo.

Does this problem still exist in 1.1 Beta 2?
Comment 2 burna 2003-06-28 05:09:44 UTC
No, this problem seems to be solved in 1.1 Beta 2. However, OO 1.1
Beta 2 can't keep the Language Settings (Tools - Options)for Asian
Layout on Windows XP, when I open a new document.
