Description sforbes 2003-02-26 17:32:06 UTC
Build cws_srx644_ooo20030223 on Windows ME Hebrew enabled, with CTL enabled in OO:

When importing a Hebrew PowerPoint presentation, althugh character order inside
word is correct, the word order is incorrect: it is LTR instead of RTL.

This applyies to all text in the slide show.

In addition, the slide order in the slide view is increectly LTR as well.

To repro:
* open any Hebrew power point slide show in OO impress.
* View it in "slide view" (where the slides are tiled)- notice the slide order
and the word order in the slide titles.
* View the actaul slides- notice the word order in the slides.

Sven,you can call SetDefaultWritingMode(
::com::sun::star::text::WritingMode_RL_TB ); on the SdDrawDocument to
set the default to RTL

The fix in
http://gsl.openoffice.org/unbranded-source/browse/gsl/vcl/win/source/gdi/winlayout.cxx.diff?r1=1.60&r2=1.60.50.1
solves this problem. Unfortunately it didn't get into Beta1.

This issue is still very much present. I do not see how an issue being verified
constitutes it being fixed.
