Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 115999
No way to define print range in the new Print dialog in Calc
Last modified: 2013-01-29 21:40:39 UTC
Using OpenOffice.Org 3.3RC7 on Windows XP SP3: In calc it is impossible to define print range (which pages to print), as the dialog does not have fields to enter data needed. Writer Print dialog allows to make such thing. I think this should issue *should block* releasing OO3.3 as it is the feature which is needed everyday and it is a big regression comparing to the current stable version. Cheers! Possible workarround : defining print ranges (complicated). P.S. I do not know which component it should be assigned -- UI or printing :)

Setting milestone for 3.3, and priority to P3 (as it is more appropriate).
The new print dialog in OOo3.3RC7 has on the tab "General" the settings: Thereof print All Pages Pages 1-n There you can set, which pages to print. I have attached a screenshot of my dialog. Your dialog looks different. Are you really using OOo3.3RC7 on WinXP? The milestone will be set by the developer, who will work on it and put the issue to his CWS (child work space).

OpenOffice is installed from the file "OOo_3.3.0rc7_20101126_Win_x86_install- wJRE_lt.exe" downloaded from the website on 2010.12.03 09:18. About dialog says: OOO330m17 (Build:9551)
I've recently installed En-us Build, it has dialogs as You posted (workable build). Anyway, i do not know if there will not be any dialog parity in final version between En-US an localized Lt-LT. Grace.
Recently checked the RC8 -- situation is the same. Affected software part is the Lithuanian Language pack (I do not know how this happened, as normally, I expected, there should be no modifications to UI except there may be untranslated parts). Checked Arabian, EN_US, EN_GB, some other -- all of it has a proper printing dialog in Calc. I suppose the component and subcomponent should be changed to something more related to internationalization issue. Grace! P.S. Could someone check if this cross-platform/cross-OS issue. The way to find it is: 1) Install Lithuanian language pack for Your platform/OS 2) Change interface language to Lithuanian (Tools->Options...->Language Settings->Languages->User Interface (Choose Lithuanian from the pull-down list). 3) Close OO 4) Open Calc 5) Choose File->"Print..." (in lithuanian it is "Spausdinti...") -- there is a printer icon and a word with "..." to find it in all languages in menu. If You see the picture I attached as dialog.PNG -- You see the bug :) If it is as the second attachment (though with different wording), then there is no bug in Your case.
I have installed a Lithuanian Language pack to a German OOo3.3 RC8 and switched to that language. Now I can confirm the error in the Lithuanian printing dialog.
