Description honzap 2010-11-25 11:27:21 UTC
I made presentation of my product. I'm using many of PNGs with alpha channel and
some of object Animation. When I start presentation of one specified slide,
rendering of image animation is broken. One of them lost alpha channel (in
3.3RC6). I've tried many of other animation types, but everyones brokes
presentation. I've upgraded to 3.3RC6 because v.3.2.0 crashes during animation.
The problems are in specified slides where are a few images and some animation.
I've uploaded my presentation (it is in Czech language but the bug can be
displayed on anyway):
http://school.pecek.cz/y39pda/presentation.odp (the problems are with 12th and
13th slide, please do not discovering presented product and source of images).
Here are screenshots of issues: http://school.pecek.cz/y39pda/rendering-issue/ .
In these slides, there is a problem with lost background after move to next
slide too (elements from Slide template).
I've got Intel 945 Integrated graphics. So I'll try this issue on Ubuntu version
of OOo and on nVidia graphics. I'll be added soon in comments. If someone's any
question, please, contact me.

I've discovered where was a problem. I've had a lot of images included as link
(reference) and there were problems during loading them. If anyone wants to
reply the issue it's neccesary to save images in presentation to disc and
include them as a link (in Open dialog). I can prepare some example of
presentation where the problem could be too (if somebody wants to solve the
problem).

The graphics of your file are not included - you have inserted them as links.
Under windows the file can be opened but the graphics are missing. Under linux
the file cannot be opened.
Do you really mean priority 5 is correct? Please have a look at
http://qa.openoffice.org/scdocs/ddIssues_EnterModify.html#priority .
Comment 3 honzap 2010-11-25 11:58:18 UTC
wg: So the problems are was in links as I wrote before. If I added graphics to
presentation it seems rendering correctly . If I have had images as links there
would be problem as I reported. But I think, other graphics on slide mustn't be
broken when linked images are animated.
Comment 4 wolframgarten 2010-11-25 12:00:37 UTC
Please attach a document with linked graphics (zipped in a directory) that
shows the problem. Thanks.
Comment 5 honzap 2010-11-25 13:02:05 UTC
Zip file is here: http://school.pecek.cz/y39pda/presentation.zip . Uloading here
was failured. Presentation is in presentation directory. There is one image in
second directory in root level, otherones are in presentation directory
directly. Open presentation in Impress, go to 12th and 13th and Start
presentation. I would like not to forget that in version 3.2.0 presentation on
these slides crashes.
Comment 6 wolframgarten 2010-11-25 14:00:41 UTC
Still on linux the new file cannot be opened.
Works without problems on 2 different XP machines with version 3.2.1 (no crash)
and version OOO330_m16. Are you using special hardware (netbook etc)?
Comment 7 honzap 2010-11-25 14:26:07 UTC
I've got this notebook: http://bit.ly/eFfDNb with WinXP Tablet. I will try open
file in linux soon when I am at home. I don't know if in v.3.2.1 crashes too,
but in OOo v.3.2.0 crashes during animation in written slides numbers. So I can
try v.3.2.1 too if you are interested in its.
It must be said, as I haven't written yet, I have got Czech (CS) mutation but I
think it couldn't make any problems.
