Description lanciaux 2010-06-02 21:14:53 UTC
Hello,

I have found something really different compared to Excel behavior this week and
this should only be the visible part of affected functions.

I use sometimes columns like this on Excel : CountA(B:B) which on Excel give a
number of non empty cells ... but on Openoffice : I got 1 all the time even if
the column is empty.

I'm sure there is a lot of functions working like this (sum(), average(), etc.)

Hope to get it fixed in Ooo 3.3

This is covered by Issue 20495

Until that change is made, you must use a complete reference for the entire
column: A1:A65536 or row: A1:AMJ1
