Description Unknown 2003-02-01 04:46:42 UTC
The Summary says it all. If I save a file as a .doc document when I first save
the file, this is never a problem. However, if I first save file sin openoffice
format and then try to save it as a .doc file, it leaves the openoffice three
letter extension at the end of the file. It does format the file correctly. All
I need to do is rename the file with .doc at the end. However, it is a bit of a
pain ahnd sometimes I forget. Believe it or not, some of my classmates do not
use OPen Office yet!
I have tried playing around with that check box about automatic filename
extenions... it doesn;t work.

Thanks!

duplicate of issue 2543, which is a WONTFIX (in real a CANTFIX, but
Issuezilla doesn't know this :)

In OOo 1.1, the behaviour of the save-as will be changed, so that the
initial suggestion for the file name does not contain an extension, so
this problem here isn't as annoying as today ....

unfortunately to set them to verified.
