Description michaelisvy 2010-03-04 09:21:58 UTC
Currently, OpenOffice shows a select box where you can choose a color. It would
be more user-friendly if there was a color chooser such as what we have here:

Actually, I just saw that the select box only applies to background colors in
charts (I am using Impress).
So, when inserting a "basic shape" in my document, it would be nice if I could
change the background color using the same kind of UI as what we have for fonts
(that is: using a color chooser instead of a select box).

Please give a step by step description of what you are doing, where and with
which dialogs. Thanks.

Sure, here it is.

Inside Impress:
1) Create a new presentation
2) go inside the "drawing" bar and draw an Ellipse.
3) Try to change its background color. The only way you can do that is to select
a color from the select box on top. It would be more user-friendly to add a
color chooser instead.

Thanks. Changed to enhancement. Reassigned.
