Open Impress.
Insert a sound file (*.mp3)
Save as Micrsoft Powerpoint (ppt)
Open ppt-file - the sound file is gone.

If I open the ppt-file in PowerPoint 2008, the sound is there, and will play. 

If I make the file in Powerpoint 2008, the placeholder image is imported in
Impress, but no sound will play.
