Description gemal 2003-01-20 13:17:25 UTC
On the "Java Setup" dialog in the installer you get the following options:
-----------------
( ) Java and JavaScript are not supported
( ) Already installed on the system
Java Runtime Environment (Version 1.4.1_01)
-----------------

it should be:
( ) Dont support Java
( ) Use already installed environment:
Java Runtime Environment (Version 1.4.1_01)

Why does it say anything about JavaScript?????????
Java != JavaScript

He Elizabeth,
Do we need a UI change here? What's about our beta? Are we to late for
UI bugs?
Comment 2 elizabeth.matthis 2003-01-20 13:50:06 UTC
EM->OF: I cannot find the offending JavaScript string in the resource
database which leads me to believe that this error has already been
fixed and will not appear in a more recent build.

Sorry,
my mistake. We have changed the UI for 643. For OOo 1.0.x we won't
change the UI.
Comment 4 Olaf Felka 2003-01-20 13:59:30 UTC
Is ok in 643.
Comment 5 gemal 2003-01-20 14:07:50 UTC
I'm seeing this in "1.0.2"
Comment 6 Olaf Felka 2003-01-20 15:08:55 UTC
I know that you have seen this in OOo 1.0.2. But as I have written, we
won't change the UI for OOo 1.0.2 or later. In OO 643 this is fixed,
we have created a new dialog. That's why I have set this issue to
'fixed'. For OOo 1.0.2 the statement 'wontfix' would be correct.
Comment 7 Olaf Felka 2003-01-20 15:09:43 UTC
Fixed in 643, wontfix for 1.0.2 or later.
