I create a new presentation in impress :
- insert - Fields - Time (Variable)
- slide show - slide show settings - type : auto

I launch the presentation the time don't change.

I tested on Linux Ubuntu Jaunty, Linux Ubuntu Karmic and Windows XP Pro

In openoffice 3.0.1 this issue doesn't exist.
