When I use the manual and auto 'check update' feature it shows the error 
message 'Checking for an update failed'. I was connected to the internet when I 
did this and had checked my Zonealarm firewall to see that the OO module was 
allowed to access the internet.

Still failed to update.

Please be patient. OOo 3.1.1 has  been released and all servers are at a high
load. If the download count is going  down we expect the servers to be back.
