Apache OpenOffice (AOO) Bugzilla – Issue 101724
Export from Impress to Powerpoint colour of hyperlinks changed
Last modified: 2013-08-07 15:20:06 UTC
When you an export a presentation from Impress format to Powerpoint format the resulting Powerpoint file loses the defined colours of the hyperlinks contained in the document. It defaults the colours of the hyperlinks to a very pale blue which because of the colour scheme I use as a background makes it very difficult to make out what the hyperlink reads. This is true when I open the resulting powerpoint document directly in Powerpoint and also when I open the powerpoint document in Impress. When the original ODP file is opened in Impress all the hyperlinks are the correct colour. I realize I am not using the latest stable release. There is a problem with the Writer component reported here: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=101472 which means any tables I create are corrupted when exported to Word format. As I have to be able to do this for work I am unable to upgrade until the Writer issue is resolved.

Created attachment 62139 [details] in PNG format of Powerpoint format
Reproducible. Reassigned.
does anyone know if this issue has now been resolved? there has been no further comments on this bug for over 12 months now. I am continuing to have issues related to problem: http://www.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=101472 so have been unable to update from 300m9 build:9358 i am hoping that when 101472 is resolved and i do get to update that 101724 will have been resolved...
hbrinkm->tl: Looks to be not my turf. Maybe it is in the edit engine?
I think this is no bug... If in Powerpoint a hyperlink is already used then the hyperlink color is a little bit brighter -> so the color can have two states which the export can't influence.
nope this is a bug. when the file is saved in ODF format the hyperlink colour is saved correctly and restored to the correct colour when you reopen the file. in the Powerpoint exported file the hyperlinks default to a blue colour regardless of the original colour you set it to - regardless in the link has been visited before or not...
