Description eric.savary 2009-03-09 15:53:35 UTC
- New Writer doc
- type some text
- insert a note
- Window - New
- arrange both windows to see both at the same time (here, arrange horizontally)

1) set the cursor in window 1
- View - Notes (OFF)
-> Note pane disappears but leaves a note "floating" in windows 2 (see
2win_cursor_win1.jpg)

2) set the cursor in window 2
-> Note pane reappears on window 2 but also in windows 1 though "noteless" (see
2win_cursor_win2.jpg)

Notice Christoph & Max: I think it's good to have the possibility to hide notes
in one window and show them in an other one. But the note pane should follow
this and show/hide following the *window* settings.

@MOD: setting 3.2, feel free... :)
Comment 4 christoph 2009-03-10 20:49:03 UTC
@es: I support your proposal to individually control the visibility of notes in
different windows. Bye!
Comment 5 max.odendahl 2009-03-29 14:25:50 UTC
fixed the ghost pane in cws notes9 - notes now behave similar to other stuff,
such as hiding/showing the field names

@es: yes, controlling the behaviour independently would be nice to have, but not
part of this issue

Comment 6 max.odendahl 2009-07-14 06:11:33 UTC
fixed in notes10
Comment 7 eric.savary 2009-08-26 16:06:52 UTC
Verified in CWS notes10
