About joining...

Joining OpenOffice.org is purely optional. You do not have to join the project to use the product and joining the project is not the same as registering the product. You do not have to register the product. You can enjoy it freely.

But there are some real advantages to joining the project! Most important: It's an interesting group working on something that is making a real difference to millions of people. You do not have to be able to code to help out. You can help with artwork, with writing, with testing, with marketing, with translation, with support--with just about anything you like. Once you click on "Register", you will receive an email message with instructions on how to log into your new account. Note: that email message may take a while before it gets to you; please be patient.

Up to 32 characters in length; valid characters are a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and underscores. Spaces are not permitted, and an underscore cannot be the first character. Example: jandoe
* Email

Any length; valid characters are a-z, A-Z, 0-9, the @ character, the ., and underscores. Spaces are not permitted. Example: j_doe@email.add
Email language

Select a language to use for email sent by the system.
