Open Calc
Open Writer
Enter any data to Calc
Copy (Ctrl+C) one cell in Calc
Switch to Writer
Press Ctrl+V - no result

Shift+Ctrl+V - unformatting text - result

NOT reproducible with "Ooo-Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version German UI WIN XP:
[OOO320m2 (Build 9432)]"!

Please contribute more detailed step by step instruction and attach a test kit
with sample documents

Reproducible with "Ooo-Dev 3.2.0 multilingual version German UI WIN XP:
[OOO320m2 (Build 9432)]"!

Works fine with "Ooo 3.1.1 WIN XP DE-multilingual version German UI activated
[OOO310m19 (Build 9420)]"!

No idea how that works, but it's something with the document name, after I
renamed to "xx.ods" copy / paste to writer worked fine, after I renamed back to
old name the problem was visible again.

MRU->MAV: see attached document. You must keep the original filename when
downloading it. Copying a cell from it into clipboard will give "Star Embed
Source (XML)" instead of "calc8" for OLE object in clipboard. Works fine when
the file is named e.g. issue106861.ods.

Copy/paste from Calc to Writer also doesn't work when filename contains czech
characters = ěščřžýáíé . Tested on ubuntu 9.10, DEV300m71.
Copy from calc to writer is common operation, please consider target 3.2.1.

Copy&Paste of a Calc Object is also broken when filename or path contains Umlaut
( ä ö ü )

I'm having the same problem with OOO320m12 (build:9483) running on Vista

The only workaround I found is :
copy content from calc
File -> New -> Spreadsheet to create a new calc window & doc
paste in the new calc window
select and copy content from the new calc window
and finaly paste to the writer window...

Some colleagues also had some embedded calc sheet in writer documents that shows
up as a big key icon (embedded object...) thus being unusable.

Plz fix it asap...

The problem was that the descriptor, that is transported with the mimetype,
contained special characters in the scenario. And the mimetime accepts only a
restricted set of characters. So the affected argument has to be encoded for
transport.

Fixed in cws sw321bf1.
