i currently upgraded to linux-mandrake 8.0mwith anti-alising fonts. to my 
surprise i found that star office 5.2 does not support anti-alising fonts. i 
could not read my essays and the fonts were garbled and looked broken and was 
forced to use ms-word (which i dont like). i would love to have anti-alising 
support for star office in linux edition.

StarOffice 6.0 will support anti-aliasing.

As mentioned on the qa dev list on March 5th I will close all resolved duplicate
issues. Please see this posting for details. First step in IssueZilla is
unfortunately to set them to verified.
