Description Graham Perrin 2009-02-07 20:15:18 UTC
1.	enter a few words in each of four cells A1 B1 A2 B2, enough to require wrapping

2.	command-1 (Format Cells dialogue)

3.	click Alignment

4.	[√] Wrap text automatically

5.	click OK

6.	double-click cell A1, somewhere near the top of its text

7.	alt-down to move the insertion point to the end of the text

8.	be bitten by bug issue 98956

9.	observe the height of the row grow inappropriately, too tall for the text

10.	double-click some other cell

11.	aim precisely for a particular word: double click that word within cell A1

12.	observe the block of text jump from: the bottom of the cell, to the top of the cell.

= Bug =

Insertion point is at a point in the text other than the point at which the user aimed.

= Workaround =

Maybe, have the height of the cell an exact fit for the text.

This may be impossible if the contents of neighbouring cells are not of matching heights.

IssueZilla field doesn't show the tail of my summary line :(

The line is:

white space above the text: insertion point is
misplaced beyond the aim of the user's double click
