Description nbecker 2008-07-14 19:39:15 UTC
I have BEB300_m3_native_packed-1_en-US.9328 (x86_64) installed. I tried to
install pdfimport-linux.oxt (selected linux x86_64). Attempting to install
fails with message:
(see attached)

Comment 2 Martin Hollmichel 2008-07-15 11:24:52 UTC
not sure if this is really the cause, but in description.xml of the pdfimport
for unxlngx6.pro the identifier "com.sun.star.PDFImport-linux_x86" instead of
"com.sun.star.PDFImport-linux_x86-64"
Comment 3 hjs 2008-07-15 12:49:29 UTC
the OS and ARCH part of the extension identifier is generated and finally comes
from sal/rtl/source/macros.hxx (lowercased on its way).
since macros.hxx contains a bug for x86/x86_64 (note the underscore), all x86_64
platforms currently have wrong identifiers for all platforms...
Comment 4 nbecker 2008-07-15 14:22:15 UTC
I checked the offending .so is i386, not x86_64. There appears to be a
packaging error here.
Comment 5 rt 2008-07-15 16:12:11 UTC
The platform identifier thing is already described in issue i90432 . Should we
close this one here as duplicate?
Comment 6 hjs 2008-07-16 09:11:37 UTC
yes, the wrong platform identifier is already covered there.
