Description alarconconsult 2007-01-31 17:06:51 UTC
I have installed the open office suit on the laptop of a customer of mine who
is blind, and uses Hal7.0 as screenreader and braille producer. Everything
works well, only the menu structure isn't displayed (read by the Hal Software)
What do I mean with this? When you enter Alt + F from File, the Base menu opens
likt File, Document, Options etc. That works fine. If we use the arrows to
navigate, it works also that means he passes fe open, save, save as etc but the
Hal Software doesnt read anymore the words, Hal just says (and gives in
braille) Arrow down, arrow down.
Any one any idea what could be the solution?
Thank you in advance
Best Regards

Eric,

in theory HAL 7.x (and latest SuperNova) could work with OOo - can you please
run a quick test?
Evals should be available.
