Description skiani 2006-08-16 09:42:15 UTC
A very useful feature would be to allow for any graphic object to be visible or
stick to muliple sheets of a drawing. Similar to how X allows for windows to be
visible on muliple virtual desktops. How it would work:

1. Select any graphic, set of graphics, or group.
2. Right mouse click and select position/size.
3. In a new tab of the current dialog called "visibility" you would see the
following:
*"Visible in current sheet only" check box (this is the default style
setting all else greyed out).
*"Visible on all sheets" check box.
*A list of all the existing sheets, with scroll bar.
*"Active on new sheets" check box (default is off).
4. If you turn off the "Visible in current sheet only" check box the other
options appear and the current sheet is selected in the list.
5. You can now select any other or all sheets.
6. If you want to have any new sheets have the objects then you can select the
"Active on new sheets" check box.
7. If you delete an object that is visible on more than one sheet you get dialog
with the following:
*WARNING object visible on muliple sheets.
*button: delete object in current sheet only.
*button: delete object in all sheets.
    *button: Cancel.
8. If I modify a style in the styles and formating dialog I would have a new tab
called visiblity with the options "Visible in current sheet only" or "Visible on
all sheets". Potentially could have all the same options as item 3.
