Description tboerkel 2005-05-03 07:00:08 UTC
I can import an Excel Pivot table with multiple column grouping (for ex. month
and year) quite nicely. But then I cannot redefine (enlarge) the source area for
the DataPilot.
Also, I am not able to construct such a DataPilot from scratch, only by
importing it from Excel. So, there is something lacking in the UI of the DataPilot.
Attaching example excel file.

seems to be a double to Issue 23658

closed double
Comment 4 tboerkel 2005-06-19 12:55:31 UTC
Only the first part (enlarge source area) is a duplicate. The second part
(construct DataPilot with multiple column grouping) is not a duplicate.

So I re-assign this to the requirements team

Please double click the DATE field in the data pilot definition window and have
a look at the dialopg opened by clicking on options.

Grouping is done using the Data/Outline/Group menu entry, see
http://specs.openoffice.org/calc/compatibility/grouping.sxw for details.
