Description scotasys 2005-04-15 15:12:26 UTC
I was working with a Microsoft Powerpoint presentation which had macros. I
wanted to print slide handouts and followed this method;

Clicked on the HANDOUTS tab and saw six slides arranged on one page.
Next, clicked on the PRINTER icon in the TOOLBAR.
Result, got a printout of the slides instead of handouts.

Tried again using this method which worked;

Clicked on the HANDOUTS tab and saw the six slides arranged on one page.
Next, selected PRINT from the MENU.
On the PRINTER dialogue box, I clicked on the OPTIONS button and from the
PRINTER OPTIONS dialogue - unticked the DRAWING box and put a tick in the
HANDOUTS box.

This is not working as it should since the user sees the handouts on the
screen and prints whatever is on the screen. Anything else is not transparent
to the user and unpredictable.
