sb: can you please look at it? sb->taniguchi: - Is the Solaris SPARC GCC port in general and this bridge code in particular working properly already? That is, would it be useful if you created a CWS for the port, or is it mature enough to put this patch on the main trunk? Please don't get me wrong, but I would not like to put code for an experimental port into the bridges module, if that port might be abandoned again in the future, and the code would keep lying around. - Have you signed the JCA? The list contains Taniguchi Yasuaki---is that you? - For the TODO in bridges::cpp_uno::shared::VtableFactory::flushCode in cpp2uno.cxx, you might want to look at the solution used in bridges/source/cpp_uno/cc50_solaris_sparc/cpp2uno.cxx 1.16 (together with bridges/source/cpp_uno/cc50_solaris_sparc/call.s 1.5). sb->taniguchi: I just saw on the porting mailing list that this port is indeed functional. Congratulations! My first question becomes irrelevant then. Please still clarify the JCA issue, I will then include your patch. Looking once more at the porting mailing list, I assume that you are indeed Taniguchi Yasuaki who signed the JCA, so I applied your patch. Thanks for contributing. sb->taniguchi: I'm setting this issue to "verified" so that it can pass through the Hamburg-internal QA (who don't test on Solaris SPARC GCC3 ;) ...). Once this is integrated into SRC680, I will pass the issue back to you. set target milestone Integrated in SRC680m81. . . . . |
