How to merge OOo to open pdf-files using the file manager -- open. OOo doesn´t 
recognize the file-ending *.pdf.

It doesn´t work neither on the Windows XP nor on the Linux platforms.

Hello nachbar,

OpenOffice cannot edit PDF files, so why should it open them?
