Opening of the attached text document, produced with version 1.0.3.1, jams the
1.1Beta2 version, which starts taking 100 % of CPU. Specific modifications to
the document resolve the problem, especially adding of new lines to the Revision
History table on the second page.

Can't see the problem on Linux, for what it's worth.

This also opens for me correctly on WindowsXP using 1.0.3.1 and 
1.1Beta2.

OK, I spoke too soon. 
This does indeed cause the processor to be used nearly 99%. 
Windows XP 1.1beta2. 
I've increased the priority because if this happens regularly with OOo1.1 
when used with 1.0.x files it would be serious egg-on-face time!

That was a windows only problem. Fixed to OO 1.1 RC.
