Created attachment 87201 [details] screenshot From LibO Writer, copy any text and try to past into AOO Writer. You will have an "error reading from the clipboard" Seems to be that LibO provide a curious name with "Richtext Format" instead of "Rich Text Format" With "Paste special" menu, you have "Unknow source" declared in items list. You can took note with a tool like InsideClipboard (see attached screenshot). This weird format has no effect when pasting into MS-Word or MS-Wordpad Workaround is to make a "Paste special" and choose "Formatted text [RTF]" but it's anoying for this simple task.
