In Calc insert an object e.g. a drawing and move it to the area
where the Sidebar will be displayed. Show the Sidebar
and scroll the view back and forth.
Collapse the Sidebar.

Notice that object's handles are not displayed.

Reproducible in other AOO components.

If 'Guides while moving' (Writer, Calc)
or
'Guides when moving' (Draw, Impress) is ON,
guides are also affected.
