DUP of Issue 105047? Yes, it seems to be the same problem. I'm sorry but when I queried the DB looking for this issue I didn't find that. I didn't mean to post a duplicate. So the issue is known, I hope it will be fixed soon. Got it! The problem seems to be related to system locale settings. Until now i used Great Britain as locale and OO didn't open files with non ASCII names, but changing it to Italy solved the problem. Seems to work with US locale too. So there are problems with certain locale settings (the MacOS system locale, changing locale in OO preferences has no effect on this issue), even if it is strange cos even with GB locale there are no problems with NeoOffice or MS Office for Mac.
