On mac enable voice over and in any OOo application select a valueset control
with the keyboard. Fe. rip off the char color window from a toolbar and select
with f6.

VoiceOver reads that it is inside a menu but currently selected item is not read.

Please note, prior to cws renaissance2 all valueset items are read as "valueset
item"

Reset assigne to the default "issues@openoffice.apache.org".
